Growing up in a small farm town in northern Utah, we learned at a young age to work hard. When I was about 15 years old my dad bought a bunch of “Foakley” sunglasses and I had my first entrepreneurship career/challenge of selling these at a city park for the 4th of July festivities. That happened almost 27 years ago, which to this day still sticks with me. I sold all the sunglasses except for maybe a handful that day and I made just over $400. I was stoked! I couldn’t believe I sold them so easily, but at the time Oakley’s were really popular and I had the knock-off brand glasses that looked just like the originals, but was selling them for only $15-$20 instead of $100. I learned a crucial lesson while selling these, I found something that people loved and were drawn to and it made me want to find other products that people are in need of.

Since then I've been a welder, owned a small car dealership in college and for the past 20 years I’ve worked as a carpenter/builder. Out of those 20 back-breaking years, I've had my own remodeling business for the last 10 years. I’m getting to a point where my body is warning me that if I keep going down this rigorous, but very rewarding blue collar field, I'll be in a wheelchair by the time I turn 50 haha...scary, but true!

In 2022 I had been remodeling a home for over 9 months, when an idea came to me like God was shining a light on me to push forward on this new career path of producing new products for the construction industry. During this whole waiting time, it was interesting how I found myself running into random people that I didn’t know, who were on the same path as me, but working on products and producing them for their personal industry. I took this as a sign that these people had come into my life for a reason, to help me get through the hardships and struggles of switching careers and I'm so grateful for the opportunity it has presented.

After two years of jumping through hoops and making lots of mistakes along the way, I finally have perfected my product and made it ready to sell to my niche of people in the industry. I know from 20 years worth of buying tools, that using the right tool makes all the difference for a successful project.
